Adventure Alaska History
Dear Student,
This course is a one-semester course intended to give you the opportunity to explore Alaska, the place we call home, through videos, the written word, and by reflecting on what you watch and read. Assignments are given after reading and videos. These assignments are sometimes simple to complete and some take a lot of reflection and being intent on learning about Alaska.
Below is a pdf of each week's assignments for you to print off and keep handy.
Next to each assignment is a blank for your "teacher of record" (parent, etc.) to initial that you completed the assignment and give you a grade for the assignment. Once the course is completed, the "teacher of record" will give you a grade reflecting the quality of work and time spent on the course.
Next to each assignment is the approximate time that should be (could be?) spent on each assignment. Please don't rush through everything on this site. Take some time to learn about Alaska. In order to move through the course, go back to the homepage (click here) and complete each week in order by clicking on the week and doing the assignments given. This course is not too complicated, but hopefully will be a class "teens can do without puking".
