Auto Upkeep is an introductory automotive program that focuses on what all car owners should know and be able to do. This program focuses on the fundamental knowledge and experience in owning and maintaining an automobile. To learn the basics of Car ownership and maintenance, this class uses an online program called "Auto Upkeep" This section of the Life Living Skills class requires students complete a maximum of 30 hours of automotive course study.
Follow this link to sign up for, and pay ($75) for the course (reimbursable). Students will choose courses on this site they want to pursue (up to 30 hours total).
**Note: the $75 subscription fee is for a one-year subscription. If a student would like to earn 1/2 credit in automotive technology as a separate additional course, they have access to the rest of the videos to log a total of 67.5 classroom hours to earn this additional 1/2 credit.

For individuals that want to pursue Automotive Technology as a career, Auto Upkeep provides a solid foundation critical to maintenance, light repair, auto ownership, and how cars work. This is the prerequisite course to enroll in the Auto Upkeep Academy. This mini-course will take you about an hour to complete. It will show you how to register and navigate the online curriculum. The Auto Upkeep Academy includes 21 courses. Think of these courses as chapters within a textbook, but interactive. Each course takes approximately 5 to 8 hours to complete.
